About Us
The Children's Cancer Fund of America, an IRS
registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, mission
differs greatly from many of the more than 200 U.S.
charities that provide cancer-related services
because its principle mission is to provide
financial assistance and urgently needed commodities
to children suffering with cancer. As stated in our
governing documents, CCF's overriding purpose is
outlined in the mission statement:
"To provide support and services to financially
indigent patients; to disseminate information
concerning the early detection and prevention of
cancer; to provide commodities, and gifts-in-kind to
hospices and other health care providers; to procure
and distribute donated merchandise to various
501-(c)-(3) non-profit community service
organizations which aid the ill, needy, and
infants."
To raise funds via direct solicitation of the
general public through such means as mail,
telephone, internet, etc. for the support of the
charity's program.
